s week I had a lot going on. We got most of all our assessments for this upcoming semester, and in a way, I am super excited these nine weeks I get to work on my final project and even get to bounce ideas off with my mentor that I will be starting to meet with soon. Although this is the most stressful time of junior year, I am so happy to have such a great mentor, and I cannot wait to get out into the field and start gaining more experience and knowledge and just having fun along the way. This week I just spent most of my time working out my schedule for the rest of the year and see when it would be best to meet with my mentor. Next Monday is going to be my first mentor visit, and I am very excited! I already have many questions and am curious to see what we do for the few hours I will be with her. I hope to see some clients and see her day to day work life and learn more about her. I know that she has many different styles of therapy, and hopefully, I will be able to see some in action or even learn about them because if I have learned anything so far, she has a different perspective of therapy, which is interesting to find out because most therapists do not have all tend to have a similar therapy style. Therefore, I am excited and eager to learn more about my chosen field and cannot wait for next week!
