Brainstorming

This week I had a mentor visit. It went well I learned even more about therapy and Vanessa’s therapy style and how even though it is such a severe topic, it can still be somewhat fun and exciting. We also got to talk about my final project. Over the last couple of weeks, Vanessa and I have been brainstorming and working on my final project, and the most formidable challenge we are going through right now is decided on a couple of ideas out of the hundreds of ideas we have been coming up with. I know I want to bring awareness and shine some light on learning disabilities because I feel strongly about that topic. However, I do also want to still help the less fortunate of Frisco ISD by bringing the NSH free tutoring program back as well as make a presentation on tips and tricks on how to get through high school for the incoming freshman and lastly, I want to also add to that presentation a teacher and staff point of view of it and talk to them about how they could help do better and help break the stigma against mental health and learning disabilities.
