This week I had a couple of zoom meetings with different people in my field. I just really talked about the why and what made me want to go into this field, and I have thought about this question so many times, and when I think about it, there are so many reasons I want to go into this field. For personal reasons and even financial reasons overall, it sounds like an exciting career. As the junior year continues to fly by, I keep asking myself what I want to be in my career field and what I as a person want to be to become. I have gone through many different phases, as people would call it, such as Doctors, Dentistry, Vet, and so many more. I was always the one to want to help people. Thus all the other careers I talked about so far, but when it comes to physiatry, I feel that this one will sick the most. I hope I can learn and gain as much information as I can because, during this week, I hear someone say even if I don’t go further with this other than ISM, I will at least have gained a lot of information about the field, and it wouldn’t go to wast. Understanding what and how the human brain works will help me go throughout life. With the help of the ISM program and my outside school programs, I will have a good idea of what I am interested in and what I want to continue to learn about by the time I leave for college. Therefore, it feels as if this is an excellent start to this fantastic adventure that I am on, and I can’t wait to keep learning and growing as a person.
