Stress is Harmful

This week I have researched a lot about the stress put on kids and teenagers at a given age, especially from the schools. This is such as SAT and ACT testing down to the homework and quizzes and overall work loud. I am sure feeling this right now, not only being a junior in high school and already having an extensive work noisy but am indeed out with the World pandemic as we all are calling it Covid-19. If anything, these few weeks have shown me just how much schools put lots of pressure on kids today, and from my past two research assignments, I’m not the only one thinking otherwise, too. Studies have shown that kids in this generation are offering some of the highest anxiety and depression rates, and if you look more into those details, a common factor most will find is the stress that is put of from school! I was already very interested in this topic due to my learning disability, but now begging out sick and just seeing how fast you can get behind really opened my eyes to the stress levels kids are dealing with. I am very excited to keep researching this topic and to find more information behind testing and stress management and levels. Therefore, to help around my final work to help my school better understand and help kids that are first coming into high school and helping with stress levels to help the rate of mental sicknesses, hopefully!
